Wanted items
The idea is to briefly list what items you are looking for, wether it is an avionics panel, double decker knobs, fire handles, specific gauges, sheepskin cover, etc ,etc, so that those of us who have time and inclination to trawl Ebay daily can send you a Private mail to alert you personally instead of advertising the item to the world on the Forum.
Of course we all have some extra parts, and that section should also help finding a new home for those dusty parts. But the main goal is to alert each other when a wanted part is available on EBay.
This post remains open for comments or suggestions. Please start listing your needs in the wanted section

I had the opportunity to test this new generation CDU coupled with the Sim Avionics software and the whole package is more than impressive. I have the previous version of this CDU which I like (..liked !?) very much but I must say that this one is a big step ahead. VGA LCD , razor sharp image, super wide angle of view and high resolution . All metal bezel and new keys make it closer than ever to the real stuff, and the new VGA screen is the real plus. The unit is self contained in a neat package and can be used as a desktop device or integrated in a CDU bay using Dzus rails. Plug and Play at its best. Actually the best feature is that its price remains the same as the previous version even if this unit is far more advanced. List of main features from FDS: - VGA LCD (800x600 Resolution!) - All Metal Construction (Bezel and Structural Components) - Dual Use Design (Drop in DZUS Rail Compliant and/or Desktop) - New Dimpled Injection Moulded Keys - PnP with Sim-Avionics, Project Magenta. Open Source Interface for Simple Integration with other CDU Software (SDK Required) - Dimmable Key Brightness - Dimmable LCD Display Brightness - Super Realistic Tactile Feel Keys (With Audible Click) - Includes Power Supply (VGA and USB Cables required) - Lead Time: 2-3 Weeks (Effective July 1 + Orders) - $995.95CAD

REX, or Real Environment Xtreme is the most complex product Kevin Glover has ever reviewed. Leading up to its release in December of last year, the product's site was frequently crashing due to the large amount of simmers who were refreshing their browsers every few seconds waiting for the release. REX generated more enthusiasm than any product ever seen, and in some places it generated a lot of enmity, too. Kevin was happy to be writing this review nearly a year after the release of the product (although REX 2.0 was only released a few months ago) because there are many resources to draw from; besides, the passion which this product evoked in some people has dimmed a bit with time, which is good. Candidness is difficult to achieve when fanatics are opposed to it. Read More HERE
