MH-60 Helicopter (retired Navy simulator) for sale
« on: August 07, 2017, 04:53:14 PM »
I have an MH-60 helicopter sim for sale. No avionics, but full cockpit including deluxe instructor hut, control loading and so much  more.

This unit was at NAVAIR in California until about 5 years ago. Located in Orlando, FL.  This is a large unit, 10-ft tall, 10 ft wide and approx. 13 ft long. Won't fit in a garage so you will need a special place for this.

If anyone is interested PM me and I can send additional pictures and specs.

Asking $10,000.00

I wouldn't mind seeing pictures of what the cockpit actually looks like. I think more people would like to see what it looks like inside.

I hope others can see the incredible potential this sim has for those interested in a Blackhawk.

One could also just cut away the IOS hut and save the cockpit and floor section.

Thanks for sending pictures of interior of cockpit. I'm not sure this represents fair value as the replacement costs of populating the shell with components alone would take much time and $$$ and would be prohibitive for many. Basically what one would be acquiring is an empty shell at its current state.

I appreciate your comments - partially true in the sense that to bring this up to a working level cockpit is in the six figure range minimum.

However, fair price ? --  I think many people don't begin to understand the cost of building a steel/aluminum shell like this. The IOS shack alone, brand new, would be $100,000 or more.

I bet Bernard would shock us with what his cost have been so far.

This cockpit has a buyer and they are paying $8,000 for it. Now - the check has not arrived, so like with my other cockpits - I'm open to considering another buyer within the next week or so if no check arrives.
