Boeing 737 OEM 4xAFDS, 3x CDU and 1 HUD with combiner and others
« on: September 01, 2017, 10:14:59 AM »
Dear friends.

The time to move has come and due to lack of time I didn't managed to convert these pieces

I procured them from a known vendor in Arizona and you can imagine that this are not prices I paid and will take a loss.

The power source come from Mr. Rob Archer,
All As-is since I didn't had powered any of them because I don't know how to do it.
All located in the US and some are really heavy pieces.
Shipping effective costs with your preferred shipper.

1. AFDS 737  250 USD each

Reserved    2. CDU. 770 USD each

3. HUD System. 1800 USD

4. Powerbrick for original Parts, a  400 Hz unit for 400USD

SOLD.    2xClocks 600 USD pair

Cheers
Luis

Hi Luis,

Out of interest, what P/N, Serial Number and Date of Manufacture is your HUD?

Regards,
Youssef

Pretty recent...it's a shame you're selling it off. Some NG's have a similar looking HUD variant to yours, but with a different P/N I think.

Are you putting an end to your build, or do you just not have the time to convert these pieces?

I will be moving to Europe and don't have the space for the stuff I have. I don't have the time to convert at all but Phil Lambert has converted a HUD and Simstack is coming out with a convertion kit ready to be used. I have the FDS CDU's which are excellent. My plan was to exchange aftermarket for OEM. FAILED 4 years to do so and no real flying since.

Could you point us to any news about SimStack and an HGS kit?
Thanks

Jim, the HGS is Phil form Simvionics in the U.K.
