Projectors for sale
« on: November 29, 2009, 11:47:04 AM »
Hi Guys, I am looking to replace my Projectors with LCD's

Before I place these on Ebay, I thought I would first see if you guys were interested here.  What I have for sale is.  2X Optoma  EP739 Projectors.  One has 189 Hours on the Bulb, and the other has 249 hours on the Bulb.  (Bulbs have been run in Low power mode, and cost about $180.00 to replace.) Lamp Life up to 5,000 Hours.

And I also have 1 Sharp XV-Z200U which I used for the Middle View on the Tripple Head 2 go, which has 40 Hours on the bulb.

I am asking $400.00 CAD for each of the Optoma Projectors if you take em both, and $450.00 for the Sharp Multimedia Projector.  "BUYER TO PAY ACTUAL SHIPPING" on top of the price.  If you take All 3, I will accept $1200 CAD for all.

Again, The Buyer will pay actual shipping once we determine the best method, insurace, etc.

Let me know if you are interested.

Trev

I am just looking at possibly doing something similar to what Angus is doing with his screens.  I really think it is worth further investigation.

And I know someone can get good deal and use out of these projectors.  (I would rather they go to a good home)

LOL.  Thanks Tim.  Seen as how I am in the OSB Business, Its 2" strips of 1/4" OSB.  Has some bend tolerance, and once it is complete I will fill with filler sand, and paint.  But that has been put on hold until I can manufacture some kind of different display.  As long as the inside maintains the exact shape, I am thinking I will block in the outside so it is never seen except by maintenance personal. LOL

Man, that shell looks really great. With regards blocking everything in (assuming you eventually do this) we're going to have to do the same sort of thing with ours because there's very limited space around the sim itself ... in fact, no-one will likely be able to get around to the front of ours without climbing through what will eventually be the cockpit window.

Same here Dean, my LJ45 sime is completely enclosed. I have some access up front via the enclosure entry, but other than that you dont see anything (not even the ceiling) when sitting in my sim. It makes a single channel (1 projector) visual system much more effective this way with NO exterior distractions.
