Serious Buyers and You Pick It Up...
« on: May 27, 2014, 11:57:34 PM »
Many of you might know that Karen and I purchased a Fire Truck Simulator/Trainer this past February. We went through a lot in order to get it and even though we've enjoyed using it, the intent was to have this placed with a Fire Department in need of a training device.

After understanding how it works and what needs to be done to set it up properly, we are confident that this simulator will certainly fulfill the need to train drivers without the huge costs normally associated with purchasing a new system. Speaking of which, a new system is costs over $100,000 not counting service contracts.

The price we have in mind is much lower then the new costs, and it's very reasonable for any Fire Department to use their training budget dollars effectively or for a home user to afford. Needless to say, this sale is not limited to anyone in particular, that is why we're posting it here on the CB. So, if you're an enthusiast of Fire Fighting Vehicles, this is right for you as well!

You'll get a turn-key system, not to mention the means to accurately train anyone in the approved methods for operating or driving an Emergency Vehicle System. Furthermore, this simulator could be used for ambulance driver training, as well as the Fire Truck. Thus, this system is not limited to a Fire Station. There are many private ambulance services across the country; you could start a training service in that regard. Or, you could place this simulator in a trailer and make it a mobile training unit.

Better still, imagine the idea of taking it to the "Cockpit Fest USA"? I am sure it would be a very unique simulator and you could reveal it as an Airport Fire Truck Simulator. Or, what about having it setup at different locations during National Fire Awareness Month? You could even use it to help promote Fire Safety or Fire Insurance Programs... There are many things that could be done with a simulator like this; unless, you prefer to keep it for yourself to show to your friends and family, as well as to enjoy in the comfort of your home, garage or simulator room. In other words, this simulator is for you...

Finally, we have a Craigslist Ad ongoing, which provides a lot of details and a few pics. I also plan to post more pics and to get a youtube video posted soon. I will add more info at a later time, in a reply post below. If you need info faster then I can get it posted, please PM me.

As for the price, please refer to the Craigslist Ad. We will accept reasonable offers; however, you must understand that the buyer must pick this up (or arrange a shipper). Meaning, you will need transport, at least 2-3 people to load/unload, and enough allocated time to remove the simulator from our home safely.

If you do not have the means to pick it up, but are very determined to own something like this (I know how it feels!), I'd be willing to discuss driving it too you...NOTE! We would have to speak with each other in person, you must come view the simulator, pay for the simulator, assume all liability for it being moved, pay for traveling costs (including gas, hotel and food), and provide able body persons to load/unload the simulator. However, this is only for very serious, and I mean serious buyers. Plus, it would also depend on the distance...only in the USA.

Here is the link to the Craigslist Ad:

Best Regards,

John

Ps. I want to add that you could use this simulator for a Euro or USA Truck Simulator. It has the same basic requirements for both...
