Amazing opportunity for a complete 737-800 cockpit
« on: January 09, 2017, 01:48:49 PM »
Amazing opportunity for a full Flight simulator

I'm selling my fantastic flight simulator of a Boeing 737 800. Cockpit.
This is not a toy but a fully simulated Boeing 737 cockpit with all the switches, knobs,  exactly like the real thing, all of this is fully working and professionally finished and is about as real as it can get.

Here's what it contains

A Master instrument panel from jetmax flightdeck solutions  model JetMax-737K...this is made to one of the highest standards in the flight sim industry, with an original cost new of  3,882  pounds

Google the jetmax website for full details. All screens included except for lower du, all power supplies are included and the full mip is ready to just plug in via a usb to your pc.

Full size lower overhead panel from opencockpits ..... all gauges work, all lights go bright or dim accordingly. Return switches on the engine start switches work, and make this overhead one of the best overheads available, again google opencockpits overhead 737, and check it out, cost new...2800 pounds

1 top overhead panel only part finished, with some switches on, but can be completed if wanted, the panel is from flightsimparts and cost new 120 pounds

A specially designed stand to support the overheads, this is a metal stand and professionally finished for the job, cost new 575 pounds from again opencockpits.

1 fmc cdu, DS-B737NG-PRO-MX-CDU (COLOR VGA!) FLIGHTDECK SOLUTIONS  one of the top manufacturers in flight sim, and ready setup, ready to go, just plug it  in to your pc.This is simply one of the best you can buy, cost new 813 pounds
It needs to be good as its the heart of the aircraft.

Prosim 737 software, is one of the very few software packages available  that drives all the above equipment,  this will include a full licence transfer and is well worth checking out to see what this incredible software can do. Google prosim737. At the moment and its all setup ready to run all the gear for sale. Cost new 600 pounds.

Autopilot Mac, and efis from  goflight, all fitted ready into the master instrument panel. These can be used for most aircraft you may want to fly. Cost 400 pounds

Saitek multi panel, saitek radio panel again check saitek for more details, these are contained in a box at side of you as per real aircraft.

1 overhead infocus 1080, short throw projector, complete with fittings for the wall, plus, a screen that gives a 8ft, to 10t, display from only a few feet from the projector, see pictures included, cost new projector 448 pounds, stand 85 pounds, screen 58 pounds
This is great for outside views and you can use fsx, or prepar3d for this.

All the above is ready to run, and can be demonstrated fully before buying. (Please no time wasters this is serious stuff for flight simmers)  and will include extra software.

You can use the setup to fly almost any aircraft and in some cases you can place the gauges to the aircraft you are flying into your master instrument panel screens, using a cheap program called air manager. These panels are then show in the existing master instrument panel. Obviously you will not have the overhead etc working, as this was designed to work  the 737 setup.

The reason for sale is I now need the room for other things, so this is an amazing opportunity for someone to get a complete setup at a much cheaper cost.

Total cost for all the above is 9,086 pounds!!

All the Gear above is around 2yr old, some are only 12mths old like the overhead.
So I'm going to start the bidding at 6,000 with no reserve......
For info on sizes please Google each item for full details.

Any questions feel free to phone me on
 01332 863239
Happy bidding and good flying.
Mike.
Ps
Due to amount and size it is collection only

Pictures may help your cause bud.  Just saying.

Also, almost everyone on this board is experienced builders.. (Those that aren't are learning to be)  If you took the time to read some posts here, you would know that.  I wouldn't suggest just becoming a member, making one for sale post and expecting people to just jump on it.  Nobody really even knows anything about you.  Clearly you are just becoming a member here to use this board to sell your gear.  I am not particularly cool with that, but you may find some people here interested in some of your parts. Take the time and post some pictures...

I'm not sure how a Single Seat training device can be considered a full flight sim but none the less, I agree with Trevor. I have also noticed a lot of hogwash in a few sims that are for sale these days with descriptions far exceeding the actuality. It pays to do a little homework.

Hi
Many thanks for your helpfull comments   :P
However just because I do not post here every week with my opinions on everything, does not mean I have not been with this forum reading the posts for the last 6 years
At the age of 70, I do not find myself making many posts unless I am extremely sure it would be sensible and a benifit for the people concerned, and always to try and help them
Finally the add is on ebay with photos, i will not put the url to my eBay add,  in case further comments and  sarcasm is added to this simple for sale post
Thanks
Mhazy

Actually I would encourage you to post the eBay add we have an eBay button on the editor that allows you just to put the item number between the block quotes. Would have made more sense to us that way as I thought you were trying to have people bid here for it.

Thanks.
