Thomas - Greetings. Your project looks very nice. We share a great hobby.

My wife's family is from Coburg which I've visited several times. Love visiting Germany.

Please keep us updated on your project.

Today, christmas was again with me and I was allowed to unpack something very big.
I completed the painting works yesterday and after 4 years of construction (mainly winter months) I'm done with the shell.

Hi Tom,

That is coming along real nice!

I must post some pics of my project. I have been really slack, it’s been years!

Cheers,
Karl

Thomas,

That is extraordinarily incredible workmanship! Thank you for sharing!

No one will ever know how much time we put into sanding, painting etc. etc.

a few gimmicks:
OEM ashtray from a NG, speaker for the 5.1 sound system, pipe for the cockpit air conditioning.
And the "escape rope". If my wife threatens my life, tries to break the cockpit door and forcibly separating me from my hobby.

Thomas,

I've followed your build over the past few years and used many of your images as reference for my own build, which is coming along nicely. But you are one of the masters in wood working.

However I noticed some time back those rather nice ashtrays you showed and searched for them on line, can you tell m where you got them?

Joe.

I discovered the ashtrays by accident and begged until I got them.
Unfortunately he only had one pair.
Sorry, for this unsatisfactory answer.

Thank you anyway Thomas,

It was worth asking, there may have been a shop somewhere selling them.  ;)

All the best
Joe.
