Fly-Elise Tutorial
« on: April 05, 2018, 10:00:10 PM »
Hey Guys and Gals.

From discussions in another forum, I have taken it upon myself to create a Step by step Tutorial on setting up a 180 degree wrap around view using Fly-Elise Calibration Pro and Immersive Display Pro.

I have no affiliations with any Company, just an average Joe simmer, like many of you guys.

But, having just completed all those steps with all the latest brand new software, I found very little info out there.

I also had a lot of trouble interpreting the manual, so I thought I'd put something together that may help others achieve a decent result without tearing out the hair!

This is Part 1 of 2 video's. Part 2 includes the actual Calibration, output files and integration into P3D V4+.

Hope it helps someone,

Regards,

Frank

Thanx Guys.
It's always a little worrying, putting your stuff out there.

But it's a nice feeling to be appreciated for wanting to help others,

Thanks for this! I'm going to be transitioning to a 3-projector setup later this year and I have no idea how to calculate things like frustrums. This is invaluable!

Thanx Ray. It's all been a bit of smoke and mirrors for a while, so I wanted to lift the veil a little.

It's really not rocket science, and the guys and gals at Fly-Elise have done a great job with the software, but the Manual is a little hard to follow, so I was just trying to explain a few of the finer points further.

I've always found visual aids and movies in a tutorial sense, to be really easy to understand.

And thanx for Subscribing to the channel, too, Ray,

Frank
