Monitors dvi, vga , hdmi splitter jungle...

This is what i have:

1 Geforce 570Gtx 2 DVI 1 HDMI output
1 Monitor on my desk for programming and normal use
1 Monitor for Captain PFD and ND with DVI and VGA input 1440x900
1 Monitor FO PFD and ND with only VGA input 1440x900
1 Dell 15” for Engine display with only VGA resolution unknown
1 17” Monitor for displaying X-plane forward view when beta testing, VGA input


So.... where do i begin?
Splitters or should i buy a fat graphicscard instead that can support lots of monitors?

Things to keep in mind:
I will upgrade my GPu when done
I will use projectors or Tvs for displaying X-Plane later instead of that little 17”


I bought a DVI VGA adapter but it does not work. Apperantly i mist h e an active converter.

If you can afford to, purchase a Radeon multi-port card for your early work and testing. They are around $250. Then as you get your system up and running, move to a higher end card as you complete your design.
AN example would be the Radeon 7750. You won't get high frame rates, but you will get lots of video ports to experiment with as you design.
Building a full scale 737-800 AATD for home use. Majority of hardware is from Sismo Solutions, software is Prosim under P3D. An AOPA member and LifeTime member of National Association of Flight Instructors

Thats a good ide.
I thought about this approach aswell with matrox card.

More PC's, don t need to be powerful. Probably will have to add a couple later anyways to offload pressure from the server. Relatively easy and cheap to find I7's out there ..probably 250 or less..maybe even free. Even Laptops would work. That would give you access to a lot more video ports and kind of future proofs the the build as well.

Thats an easy and good alternative. Zhsi have rasberry support (windows).
