Title: New member building a Cessna 182 Cockpit
Post by: monsenrm on November 30, 2019, 05:27:17 PM
Hello All,

I am building a Cessna 182 simulator to mimic the actual Cessna 182 I own.  I am an instrument rated private pilot but am a bit rusty so I thought this would be a fun idea.  The panel will look as close as possible to my own.

I am using AirManager and the neat Arduino connectivity for rotary encoders and such.  It will be with X-plane right now but that can change later.  I have managed to get a very nice yoke from an ancient AST professional flight simulator from the 1980s.  I got that working with new pots and it is ready to insert.  I also bought a RealSimGear Garming 530W like the one in my plane. I just need to build the rest of the structure.

I am sure I will be asking advice here!

Regards,

Ron M
