Hello everybody.
Has anyone of you built a full-functional control yoke? (Other than mounting a joystick on a plastic pipe).
I´ve read the free sample of the "building recreational cockpits" but it seems a bit much of engineering there. (Own Torque assembly, sensor etc.)
Would be nice to get some info or pics.

I have a Boeing 727 captain's yoke that is fully functional. The control column however is PVC.
Left and right tension is provided by two brake shoe springs, and fore and aft is controlled by two heavy duty industrial springs. I'm changing these to gas struts if I ever get around to it. They're sitting in the shop now.
All of the yoke controls are wired to an interface card and programmed through FSUIPC. The AP disconnect inturrupts 24vdc power to the AP to release the solenoids and the AP signals FS through FSUIPC.
