Been a long time since I had to worry about this. But after several flights tonight I decided to have a go at an autoland. Well I could not get the autopilot to go to dual channel. As I was wrapping up tonight I remembered why! Is there an easy way to get the Nav2 radio functionality without getting a second hardware radio for the time being? I have a Nav1. Maybe a software or add on remedy for the short term? I do have a GoFlight unit that the leds do not work in but the rest of the hardware is ok and works. I will get a hardware radio at some point but for now it is not in the cards.
Bob,
You have an ipad right? If so, purchase the app from Aerosoft called RadioStackX. It will give you everything that is needed for the radios, adf and more...
