Rotary with center pushbutton?

Ever seen a rotary switch that was indexed at 270-000-090 and had a center push function? In other words, a rotary selector that has 3 indexed postions 90 degrees apart and with a center push function?

Maybe this is possible to achieve with a standard rotary ?

I have not tried this yet, but might work if you disassemble a 12 pos 1 pole rotary and fill the holes between 270-000 and 000-090 with resin so there will be no "stops" in the intermediate positions. (=e.g. the 300, 330, 030, and 060 degrees stops).

And then drill a small hole thru the centre of the switch shaft (same as often detailed when making concentric shafts) with a small push button switch on the back of the rotary. Use a length of piano wire thru the hole drilled in the shaft to actuate the push button switch. I have made 737 EFIS Baro switches this way.

Thanks Thomas, but unfortunately that's a rotary encoder, not a rotary selector switch that Im looking for. Im looking for an actual selector switch that's indexed with a center push function.

I would have tried to follow the principle in this tutorial:

If you ever find a combination of a 90 degrees rotary with a push, I would believe it will be an expensive piece and something very special.
Mouser have several 3 position 90 degrees detent rotaries - e.g. ( SR2613F-0103-18F5B-D8-N ) and combining this with a switch at the bottom is quite easy to do.

Using a small PCB extended from the bottom with a small tactile switch
would be the most elegant solution of course.

Thanks for the link to the guide. That's my next best solution to make this happen if I cannot find one. However, Honeywell uses these for the DU Reversion function and Im not sure why they cant be sourced easily.
