chaps....
our european friends may appreciate this (and micheal as well because he does europe as well).
freeware scenery for FS, FSX (and i think X-Plane) of Zurich LSZH.
nice detail and has a 'payware' level of quality.   check it out.
i've been in and out twice today  :)

Ian..  I am surprised you haven't sorted the avatar yet?  LOL.  Anyway, Thanks for the scenery info.  I am starting to get excited about flying more in Europe.  to be honest it makes me a bit nervous with the different Transition altitudes and all the numbers are written in Meters and thats hard to figure out LOL.

I was never a math scholar..  Anyway, off to download the scenery.  Thanks again for the info.

I suggest that you try my second edition of Quebec CYQB. You will find it on AVSIM.com or Flightsim.com library: quebec_cyqb_2.0.zip
Very realistic and accurate scenery. Try it and you won't regret

Thanks GeeBee..  I will check that out as well.

Hey Trevor, altitude is in feet unless you visit Russia. They are the only country I know of using meters for altitudes.

I love flying in Europe! I won't fly anywhere else in the 727.

Thanks for the tip on Zurich. I'll check it out.

hi guys.......
this is a resource i use quite a lot to search for freeware scenery.  it's run by a guy called Robert Jan Oosterloo.   links to freeware scenery all over the world by country.   both FS9 & FSX listings......
http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004.php
and for micheal, try Sarajevo in minimum conditions :D    here's the link
http://www.flightsim.com/file.php?cm=SEARCH1&fname=sarajevox2009beta10.zip
unfortunately only for FS9 at the moment, but Irhad tells me they are working on an FSX version.
even better if you use the Balkans Mesh as well.
have a great day chaps......
regards from wales .... ian

Thanks for the link for Sarajevo!

That will be a new destination for me. I've never been. I'll have to dig up some charts.

Too bad it's FSX and not FS9.
