For reference:

Interesting:

These people could supply the combo for N1 Set and Speed ref duals!

Jack,

Will they work better than these from Sismo?

http://www.737ngsim.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=25&category_id=3&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=68&lang=en

According to Paco the shop manager, they can makes these for the N1 set and Speed Ref dials and i was considering buying for my pit.

Hi Ben
the Sismo is probably a good device but it takes a lot of space behind the panel.
Some concentric encoders such as the Alps  or Elma  are tiny things which allow much more spacing.
This being said the N1 dual is not a dual encoder .
The outer is a 4 position rotary and the inner is a spring loaded to center 2 pos switch.
More or less the same for the speed ref.
These two controls are rarely used in real life (Mike is my source) and are not interfacable as is in FS. I think that SimA has some offsets for it.. Some here are working on that case.. (to be continued)

Elma manufactures custom items at a cost. Sismo can probably do it for much less.
Please report.
