The second hand PC that I bought  for the CDU is a P4 2,66 with 2.5 G of RAM.
Video is an ATI Radeon 9200 pro

I tested the GC PM demo today and got only 115 on the benchmark (min 150). even with 1024X768 and 16bits color.

Something wrong here...? should be much faster.
Any idea?

Even with the benchmark being low is should still work just fine.  The big reason is ATI Cards are not True OpenGL Cards.. As far as I know they are more Direct X cards..  But Like I said.  I have seen a Nvidia TNT2 card, benchmark better then a recent ATI Card..  and it is very OLD.

Very old. I'm running one of those cards on a WidevieW machine with 1.3 Athlon Thunderbird core.

It gets me by for the left view but it's turned down a bit compared to the other two machines.

Why yes...I am a rocket scientist...

Boeing, Collins, Gables, Sperry, PPG, Korry, Pacific Scientific, Honeywell

Just a thought but did you try downloading latest ATI drivers?

Mau you were hyper-right!

with the new drivers I get an insane benchmark of 750
(400-500 max with the nvidias!!)
I'll put this computer to a better use than the CDU.
