Believe it or not , after all these years, I just dicovered that I could interface that FF /FU/ reset/ toggle on the main instrument panel, courtesy of FSUIPC advanced manual!!!  Dumb hey?? 

By the way what would you use for that, togglewise ?

I don;t know what it is supposed to do... but... 

I would use an on/off/momen

switch on function = FF
Switch off function = FU
MOMENTARY Reset..

That way it only uses 2 inputs instead of 3.
