Hi all,

Long time, no post. I'm still here reading on a daily basis, though!

Just wanted to share an updated pic of the 737NG sim I've been building in my house here in Las Vegas. Yesterday marked the 1 year anniversary of the start of construction, so this is a bit of a "celebratory" photo. Never in a million years did I think I'd be this far along after only a year!

Thanks to all who've helped answer my (many times dumb) questions along the way. This is a great community that I'm happy to be a part of!

Hope you enjoy the pic.

WOW

That is a very good progress in a year. Looks amazing. For sure you get the 737 feeling in there.
Great celebration photo. Love the colors  :)

(and there is nothing called a dumb question, only stupid answers ).  ;)

Now that ladies and gentlemen that quite simply sums up "the dream".

Well it does for me :)

Now then Chris, be honest here, i bet you took that photo, looked at photo u just taken and thought "hmm nice" put camera down, started to giggle like a small child jumped into the capt seat and throttled it!

Stunning :)

Thanks for the nice comments, guys!

Steve, this would've never been possible without you guys at FDS! Phil: your map light panels add all the realism in the world, as well. Thanks to both of you for making dreams like this possible!

Looks really great Chris! Congratulations on the work so far.

God, I remember when I finally got outside visuals in my bird I about peed my pants the first time I flew it!  ;D

Damn right, mate! Well, everything but the giggling! ;)

Actually, I got out and turned it off. I'd already flown MCO-SDF-MCI-LAS-PDX and had had enough for one Sunday. Landed in PDX, taxied back, put in a FP, and staged it on the runway before shutting down for the night. Still, looks like it's about to rip off into the wild blue yonder, doesn't it?
