Trying to install my FO yoke.
Real yoke and column.
Column is a bit too short and I would need to add a few centimeters for the base  pivot.

The most elegant solution would be to slip a sleeve into the column or out on the column because space is tight due to the inner tube.
No 3"ish  tube, metal or ABS fits here in North America.

Beside having one machined...any hint/idea??

A ) Column outside 3" or 76mm
B ) Column inside 2"13/16 or 72mm

Look at this part number from McMaster-Carr:  8745K54.

This is a 2-7/8" diameter PVC solid mass. You'll have to take a 1/16" off (1/32" all around) and you'll have to bore it too for the yoke control switch cabling.

It's sold by the foot and it's cheap. I think you can make this work. I'd have posted a link, but it doesn't take you to the part number page.
Why yes...I am a rocket scientist...

Boeing, Collins, Gables, Sperry, PPG, Korry, Pacific Scientific, Honeywell
