NEED ADVICE: Okay, So I am currently running Windows 7-64 on a Jetline Systems computer. I have a AS-Rock97 motherboard with a NVidea GTX-980 graphics card. I am running FSX.
What I would like to do is to have (3) 50" - 4K Sceptre TV's as #!- Main Front View, #2 - Right Wing View & #3 - Left Wing View.
The Z97 can support (2) GTX-980 cards. My question is can I use one card for my front view and the second card for BOTH the Right and Left wing views. By using 1 card for 2 of the TV's, will that still give me 4K resolution on both or will it split the resolution? I also have the option of using a second computer with a third GTX-980, if I absolutely need to. I have never networked before and would rather not, if possible.
Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? I'm open to any options.

For modern games/FPS shooters you could probably do 3 x 4K with one GTX-980... but for FSX/P3D, no way... those sims are still so CPU bound, despite recent advancements.
Well, to be correct you could still do it but either a) have really bad FPS or b) have to turn off all the eyecandy.
Thanks for the reply. Do you have any suggestions as to how to set up the 3 TV's? Would a second GTX980 in my main computer and networking another computer with it's own GTX980 be an option?

Your best best best bet would be to run Wideview one copy of FSX on each computer and one monitor connected to each computer. Basically the Front view would be the main FS PC and wideview would control the other two computer views. This would be the mose FPS Friendly setup.
This is what i want to do but i'm getting a TITAN Z would that run 3 monitors but 1 at 4k and the rest normal 3440x1440
I recently upgraded to 2x 55" curved 4K Samsung TV's and decided to try consolidating my 3x PC networked installation into one 4790K overclocked PC, and took 2 GTX 970's and SLI'd them with one card per display. Performance is pretty good, but two 980's would perform much better. The 4K's take a lot more effort to push so keep that in mind.
You could do something similar...2x 980's SLI'd with one video card per screen. Meaning for 3x 4K's I'd do 3x 980's. Trying to push 2x 4k's through one 980 is likely going to kill you.
You could network too, as suggested, but that would be even more expensive (and complex). Remember you technically have to buy a separate copy of each software for each PC. I didn't realize how much more was involved in networked setups so...
What I might suggest is going with 2x 55+" curved 4K's (they look great in my setup attached). That should cost about the same as 3 smaller 4k's and the width would be around 10ft which is plenty wide. Then you only need to buy one extra 980 (versus 2 more PC's AND 3x 4k's!) and you should be golden.
I would also switch to Prepar3d. It transfers a lot more load to your GPU's so your CPU won't have to work as hard processing all that extra resolution. I think you'll be pretty happy with the results as I have been.
Now, to sell off my extra PC's and the 970's so I can get me a couple of 980ti! It never ends!!

Thanks. My 55" curved Samsungs were about $1100 USD each and I'm very happy with them so far. Model UN55JU6700F for your reference. Two of those would be the same cost as one of the 65" at the link ;) Something to consider. Leaves you more money for those killer 980's!
On the 55" you mentioned, I'd just do a lot of research before you buy. Samsungs are generally quite good TV's, but make sure you look at customer feedback from various sites before making your decision.
Couple of minimal downsides I see to two displays. With two displays you get the bezel right in the middle of your view (they're thin enough it's tolerable to me). Second, I don't have a left/right view anymore but the pixel width of these displays gives me a very wide FOV which is just fine for me.
Eventually I'm going to go with projectors and build a 220 degree curved screen, but this solution was cheaper for now and the 4k resolution is glorious!
I may settle for two 55" and get use to the split in the middle! I haven't got the room at the moment for a projector!
Problem with 2 monitors, you will find out quickly... The approach sucks when you can't see the runway :) Ask Bob LOL.

Personally, I would choose 1 or 3.. I would not go the 2 route.
