I found a picture I had taken during the EAA 2007 convention. I named it 'Which way is up' and it made it to their picture gallery somehow but sadly, I received no royalties for it :).
That was an incredible performance by the way and if you have never gone to Oshkosh, Wisconsin during the EAA convention, that is a trip you will always remember if you ever make it there. Where else can so you see more than 10,000 airplanes in one location and see 2 planes landing on the same runway at the same time, one at the threshold and one overflying the first one and landing mid-runway?
The day before the opening day is just mayhem for flight controllers who have to deal with a constant stream of GA airplanes, homebuilt aircrafts, Warbirds & many other types as well. They come in all sizes & capabilities, from ultralights to to business jets to large military aircrafts . Really a sight to behold!

Hope it does not start as a forced 'retirement' for you :(. Were you given any indication this was in the works or are you just anticipating it will happen as it does in so many other takeovers?

Well, things are uncertain as always. My job is going to end, but seem to have a lateral move to Company #2. Hopefully that works out.
Thanks for asking though,
