Aft Overhead with Pokeys

Has anyone built their aft overhead around Pokeys?  I'm looking on info on how many cards they used, and if they were able to do it with just Pokeys.  I'm using Prosim.

I'm slowly finishing up the sim so trying to use up all the extra cards I have laying around.

I would most advise Ruediger from www.Flying-the-Winglets.de

He is migrating his overhead with the Pokeys and I am sure you could do with it the Expansion 80 Output board for the Pokeys with his software. The expansion 80 output doesn't use any of the Pokeys pins either only the top special molex connector so they are left free for what ever else you need. The Output card can handle 50volts 150ma per output or 500mA per 8 ouputs. It can power relays, solenoids, and other medium-
current or high-voltage loads.

The expansion card is coming very soon.

I checked Ruediger's site the other day.  I must have missed it.  I also messaged Georg about his expansion card but haven't heard back.  I imagine as it's August, he's on vacation.

I think I'm going to take the OC route though.  I took inventory of all my extra OC cards and quite frankly I just can't justify buying any other cards. As you can see below, I have everything I need

- IOCards needed:
YES - 1 USB Expansion 2T3.(plus 2 extra)
YES - 2 Master 2T1 72 inputs and 76 outputs.(plus 2 extra)
NO - 1 OUTS 2T19 32 outputs more.
YES - 1 USB Servos 2T11 for oxygen gauge.
NO - 1 USB LCD 2T16 LCD controller (LCD screen not available).
YES - 2 inputs connection 3T5 to avoid to weld into the cards.(plus 2 extra)
YES - 3 outputs connection 3T4 to avoid to weld into the cards.

So as you can see, all I am missing the 2T19 32 Outs card and the 2T16 LCD Controller

However, I also have the following:

1 x 2T17 USB Outputs
3 x 3T6 Inputs with Encoders
1 x 2T2 Displays II Card

I would think I could use the 2T17 for the additional outputs and I could use the 2T2 for the 7-segment displays.

As much as I would like to go with the Pokeys or buy a phidgets, the flexibility of the Pokeys can be used for future projects, while I can use current OC stuff fairly easily, and not have it laying around.

More to follow on this.  Just waiting on a few connectors in the mail and I will knock this out
