17" widescreen monitors - where to find ?

I am in the middle of building an A320 cockpit. I am having serious difficulty finding 17" widescreen monitors for the PFD and ND - one for the of the Captain Side and one for the FO side. No other size does the job (neither 17" square nor 19" widescreen).

I tried everywhere, no luck. Looks like this size is extinct.

So the question to those who have built A320 cockpit, did you manage to find these monitors, or did you find a solution around this bottleneck.

Thanks for your feedback.

Seems like you would only find them on 2nd hand market ?

Or maybe chinese manufacturers like on Alibaba ?

I have a 737 pit, which like many of us runs with 2 x 19" 5 x 4 monitors for the PFD and ND displays, (covering both Pilot and 1st officer).
I assumed that the Airbus uses the same size displays, but I'm not sure of that.

What are the physical measurements of the area available for monitors?
I have a whole bunch of monitors so I could possibly measure them and see what fits.

Warren,

The available space is 36cm x 28cm.

Thanks

I checked all my versions that I could ahold of and none fit that footprint.

You have a tough one there.  Did you ask the company you got the MIP from for recommended monitors?

I've also been successful using ebay and craigslist to get second hand monitors.

Have you gone to a large electronics store with a tape measure and measured floor models?

Sorry I don't have better news.
