The dialogue with SimInnovations.com has taken a negative turn... for now... My impression is that they have decided to pursue the touch-screen market full-bore, leaving complex avionics platforms behind and with no hardware interface options.(Garmin, Avidyne)

Sad because I still believe they have a great product with a great direction but I get the impression that they are chasing the flight school market because of higher dollar value. It's the direction FlyThisSim.com took after building out their product line using their lower-tiered consumers as their beta testers.

Since I refuse to renew my FTS license to the tune of $2500 for their Avidyne PFD/MFD, I've resurrected  the Ellie Systems Avidyne.

It's about stinking time! I will be in contact. A promise is a promise!!

No pictures today but a ton of work going into it. (Mostly the Vertical Speed side)

Removing a ton of old math routines and replacing it all with faster OpenGL routines, thanks to some intense help from Don.

Frame rates are going up and it'll be compatible with FSX/P3D/X-Plane.
