Title: Visit to Milan ATC
Post by: Sean on July 09, 2012, 06:09:00 AM
Last week I was fortunate enough to visit the visual control room at Milan's Malpensa airport (LIMC).

Milan's proximity to the Alps makes for some interesting flight operations. Particularly spectacular was the BLA 6C departure off runway 35L, which often had 73's and A320's turning within the airport boundary.

I've attached a few photos for those interested.

Thank you for the pics
Always interesting to see what's on the other side of the headset!
I see that you were picking up your car before going back home, or shipping it home?
