Someone sent these to me a couple of years ago when they decided to modify a 727 throttle into a 737NG throttle.

I finally got around to retro-fitting them to my 727 throttle last night. They don't fit quite right as the upper throttle handle shafts were too thick to fit in the narrow slots in the upper part of the go-around assemblies. Boeing used a thinner steel for this part and mine are made from 1/8" aluminum. I had to do a little cutting and grinding to get them to fit as well as they do now, but if you look closely you can tell they aren't seated in the slot in the go-around mount.

These two buttons (Captain & FO, depending on who is flying) command the flight director to pitch up to 10° for you to follow after a missed approach or go-around. They are marked 'INOP' so they won't be working in my sim either.

I think they look good and adds a little more authenticity and detail.

Thanks Trevor. I don't know why I let these small projects accumulate. I still have four original glare shield lamp assemblies to install in place of the home made ones, and I need to wire the cockpit for ATC, and I still need to hang the PA handset on the back of the control stand.

Then there's wiring up the 5VDC lamps inside the trim wheels, and the radio heads I relocated to the forward rack when the OC models arrived.

But what am I getting ready to start instead? A full blown authentic looking set of rudder pedals that will take a month or more.  ::)

Well Mike, I have to say that every little project you have ensures you continue to build in the hobby.  I just think it is exciting that you can keep making what it is you have so much more realistic.  In addition to this, we all have projects we "wish" that we were doing.  I call them "Favorites" there are many projects I have that I am avoiding like the plague LOL.

Yeah, wiring up the cockpit for ATC is one I've been trying to avoid. I'm doing a pretty good job of it.

But, I really want to get back on IVAO, so it's probably going to be done concurrently with the rudder pedals.

I need to get a roll of shielded speaker and mic cable and some plugs.
