Title: Worldflight Perth 737 & 747 crews 2015
Post by: Aerosim Solutions on October 19, 2015, 06:05:56 PM
Hi all,
The Perth Worldflight team now has two sims this year! 747 sim owner Greg Hateley left my "Velocity738" team to form his own Worldflight team - "Giant1471" will be flying it's first Worldflight. With a 'one team' ethic we have pooled resources and combined our donations for the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia. I am very pleased to announce that with 11 days to go before Worldflight starts we have exceed our $5000 goal already! Last night our total reached AUD$5180. We have bumped our goal up to $7000 and will do our best to get there!

Looking forward to hooking up online with our other Worldflight teams in November!!

Cheers Gwyn

Was that the best one ever or what???

Worldflight 2015 was fantastic and we smashed our 7k goal by achieving AUD$8,900.30 The Royal Flying Doctors should be happy with that. The friendships that grow from these events are wonderful. I am very fortunate to have most of my crew gathering every Monday night for out 10 months of training before the event. Monday nights have always been something to look forward to each week and I'm not looking forward to hearing the crickets in the shed tonight! VOZ738 has a very tightnit crew and seats have become quite a revered things with a few names on our waiting list. This is one reason my friend Greg formed his own 747 crew in Giant1471. We stayed as one team and combined our donations this year and will no doubt do the same again next year. A big pat on the back to our US team from downunder and we all look forward to doing it all again.
Here's a snapshot video from crew member Luke!

Gwyn,  I can't agree with you more..  Every Year it seems to get Bigger and Better.  And every year we all say the next couldn't possibly be better...... But it always is.

I must apologize though for trying to circumvent the ATC Handoff system, to try to get ahead of you guys on the one leg.... But I did have the controller in stitches LOL.

Good on you all!  Can't wait for next year.
