Title: 737 Document Holder
Post by: GarethH on December 13, 2017, 04:18:29 AM
Hi all,

I'm working on the side walls of my home sim. The one area I'm having issues finding online is the document holder.

Does anyone have a link to buy as a pair or single?

Looking online, I have only seen you can purchase them as part of a package along with the rest of the sidewall accessories.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Gareth :)

Sorry, I don't think I made it clear enough. I was referring to the holder next to the cup holder actually built into the sidewall. I believe it may be called the 'Document Holder'?

Thanks, Gareth

Gareth,

Maybe you could save the attached image and point to it with an arrow in Paint and then post it back here..

Thanks,

Trev

Used to be available, like the window handles...
Did a quick search but no results.
Put your thinking cap on, browse your local  hardware shops
and make it out of something obviously not intended for that ! :D
Small paper bin, mailbox slot, etc etc

Or 3D print one.

So far, I just cut, glued and made it from drawing paper, grey duct tape and piece of PVC table mat :)

You really don't need anything more in a dark cockpit.

Hi Gareth,

Here they are installed in my sim.
[smg id=1367]
[smg id=1368]

External faceplate size = 175mm x 50mm
Internal pocket size = 143mm x 32mm & 122mm deep

I can make custom sizing if you wish.

Cheers Gwyn
