We have just finished flightsimLAN Gardermoen 2009 this weekend. It is like a miniatyr Lelystad-event. We were supposed to have this event at the air forces museum, but due to some last minute obstacle, we had to move the event almost in the last minute before we opened the doors. Clarion airport hotel at Oslo airport Gardermoen did an super job to supply us with their services so the event could be held with great success at their hotel. The hotel is also just 150 meter from 01L at ENGM, so we had also good fun spotting planes :)

Vatsim had a 24 hour Gardermoen realtime event there. So all real flights to and from Oslo was simulated on Vatsim for this 24 hours. Very professional. Maybe some of you guys here was flying on this event also :)

I attach three links here to some high quality pictures from the event.

Here some of my photos.
First we have Mr Geir Ove Finstad. He is in charge of this event. Very good friend also.

Then we have two pictures of the builders corner. As you can see we also have a real F-16 procedure trainer here. And a 777 + 737 project + some bits and pieces.

We also went for a visit to Nordic Simulator Center to have a look at their DC-10 and MD-80 simulators. Very impressive to watch this. The guys there are working very hard to get the DC10 running, and they have very good progress. http://www.dc10.no/

Hope you like the photos  :)
