  Hi all,

Update my sim using one samsung 8" mini-monitor photo frame to use Thomas electronic checklist on LOWER EICAS display like the "triple seven". Here goes some shots...

The photo framr can handle the cursor movement?

The program can handle the Cursor and is control able by Offsets
- Cursor UP
- Cursor DOWN
- Enter
- Program DISPLAYED / HIDDEN

- Automatic check mode in combination with pmSystems
- Manual check mode
- create your own Checklist(s)
Best Regards

Hi Jack,

I use Thomas offsets for UP, DOWN, CHECKED and it is posible to use the cursor too as Thomas said. Because the photoframe works like an extension of windows (take care with your choice, not all photoframes works like an extension monitor) so the cursor works on it if you want.

Not sure if this is of any interest to you guys but Dixons in the UK are selling a Samsung SPF-87H 8" Digital Photo Frame that acts as a PC monitor for £59.99 inc postage.

Cheers
Joe.

Hi guys,

Is this secondary eicas a part of PM systems? Or is it a standalone program?

Hey Norbert,

It is a software package that Thomas Richter writes himself.  It overlays Project Magenta if you wish.

You can find his software here :)

I'm looking for a 10.4" (4:3) screen for my lower EICAS. Frame will be around 17.5 x 17.5 cms.

Any ideas??

Hey JWS,

Jack posted some links for us in a thread..  I don;t know if your looking for a kit like this, but here is one..  It says it is discontinued, but they may have another version to replace it.  It is a start anyway :)

Trevor, thx. I know this company but I'm afraid that these monitors are very expensive and will be more expensive after the Dutch customs had their doing.

I have to find something in Europe.

Even not sure is 10.4 is sufficient, maybe 11.??

What Mip are you using?  Because 11 may be a bit too big...  I will continue to see if I can come up with something..
