Redoing my pedestal with Dzus Railing
Most of my pedestal FDS panels have 3mm plexi backers. ie: thicker than metal
Regular dzus , which I have, are too short.
Longer ones are avail at $4.19 a pop for 100, $ 2.29 for 200.
I need 60 units
Anyone having extras
Anyone ready to share an order.

Real panels installed.
Very nice Jack! I ran into the SAME panel problem when I switched to DZUS. FDS PRO-MX CDU fits great! But other panels I've decided to slowly redesign with metal backplates. Now I've got this Elite CDU I'm trying to figure out how to mount... lol.
Can you use a drill press to countersink the holes so the normal DZUS fasteners fit?

I had the same problem as well with some panels that used plexi backers. I got around it by routing the edges of the plexi backer just wider than the width of the rail. You dont need to take a lot off to get the regular sized dzus to fit.
Gary
Yep Robert, I tried that, but not entirely OK
the "longer" dzus are the way to go....well , I think!

I do not have the tooling for that... I know, we are talking mm. here. I will go the long Dzus route.
Robert, The CDU I did with repro Dzuz ie: bolts.
