Question: If there is no un-install function associated with a Module...
How do you remove a Module within the FSX Add-Ons menu?
For example: Squawkbox has an un-install feature, and when executed, it will be removed from the Add-Ons menu. But other apps do no have an uninstall feature - hence the question.
Help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Mike
Modules for the most part are DLL Files that reside in the modules directory, (Like FSUPIC) You would have to go into the Modules directory and manually delete a module if it didn't have an uninstall feature.
An add-on module would have come with a file or files and instruction as to where to place these files. Like Trevor said, most are DLL files that get placed in the FS X Modules folder but there could have been other files placed in other folders. Check the documentation that came with the Add-on Module and the name and location of the files involved will be there. Then simply delete them.

Thanks for the comments Harry. I think I have FSX Modules sorted out now. Thanks again for the feedback.
