Title: CPB Tower, Learjet 242ET requesting fullstop landing
Post by: ETomlin on September 13, 2009, 04:01:55 AM
Hi guys. I tried to come up with a clever subject line for this section, but I may have *failed*!

None the less, you guys know me as Tomlin, as in Eric Tomlin. Im currently 33 and live in SE Georgia and work as a GIS tech. I got the invite to come by and I wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

Im currently VERY much involved in the leading edge design of all things Learjet 45 for the sim world. We have a very hardcore dedicated group of builders and growing suppliers of parts for the Lear 45 and it's been a blast to be a part of something fairly different in the sim world. Of course, my sim is a Learjet 45 :-). Ive had the current version going on 2 years but right next to it is an entirely new sim that Im building to replace the current version with the new stuff being 1:1 in every way, right down to the exact color of the instrument panels and hardware, with all of the homework done by myself and a great group of friends at Hangar 45.

Great looking new site, thanks for the invitation Tim. Looking forward to see this site grow!

Thanks guys. Nice looking site :-)

The Learjet is going great, very great. In fact, I have so many new parts that I just dont have time to get them all installed at the rate I'd like since I have a now 10 month old copilot in training :0)

However, that's a good problem and maybe I can post up some pictures of the project as I change all the old parts out for the new.

take care and thanks for the welcome.
