Hello fellow cockpit builders and enthusiasts!
My name is Matt and I live in Adelaide Australia.
I have been building my Home simulator now since about 2003. I started off purchasing a Precision Flight Components Throttle Quadrant with the Jetliner Yoke and Pedals ( to which still work to this day, 12 years later.) Now I have a Full Scale flightDeck of a Boeing 737-800.
The Simulator is in one of my spare bedrooms and only just fits with only enough room so far for 1 Project for the outside view.
The Simulator is more aimed at the FUN side at the moment with certain sections of the flightdeck INOP but fully flyable. I am currently using ProSim and FSX. The sim runs of 3 PCs.
I have purchased parts from - FlightDeck Solutions - MIP & Hardware
Simworld - Overhead, Pedistal Panels & Hardware
Open Cockpits - Assorted Panels & Hardware
CPFlight - MCP,2 X EFIS, NAV & MIPPCB
Precision Flight Components - Yoke, Rudder, Throttles.
+ more but I dont wont to bore ya yet.
I have just made a New Facebook page for my 737 Simulator on how it was made.
Please have a look and if any good give me a like. Link and Name below.

Thanks guys for having a look. Hope to meet any Aussies builders out there too.
Matt
Here's a few recent shots while flying.
Very nice and welcome to the group!
Well done, and welcome!
Nice sim Matt, welcome to the group!
Don't forget your "local" custom parts supplier here in Perth!!
Cheers Gwyn
Thanks guys.
Will do Gwyn, you have lots of very nice toys there in your shop. Cool videos too.
Hi Matt,
Nice Job! Jury is still deliberating as far as shell goes for me...kind of a ways off from that yet. However, like you..I have built in one of my spare bedrooms, bit tight..but will fit. Thanks for posting your pages and pics.
Thanks Ed.
The shell was designed to be 100% to scale on the inside. As you don't see the outside of the shell when flying the sim, also another reason it is painted matt black.
Hi Matt,
Welcome, you should get some great help here!
I'm 4 hours away in Mildura, and Bernie is halfway between us in the Riverland. (He is more active on the Prosim Forum)
Look forward to catching up over a beer or 12 one day :)
Cheers,
Mick
Hi Mick
Will do Mick. Where can I check out your and Bernie's work?
I have a few bits and pieces on here, nothing too in-depth just yet. I have millions of photos, just no time to write the stories and post it all up somewhere. :o
