Title: Hi from a 737 Builder in San Antonio, TX
Post by: MistyBlue on August 14, 2015, 09:34:25 AM
Hey all, just dropping by to say hi from San Antonio, TX.  Making some good progress on my 737 build, but as always a long way to go.

I appreciate all the great info and camaraderie here.

Welcome to the club of flying nerds, Tony.

... San Antonio, I did like the River Walk when I was there in the late nineties... (But it's to small to land - even with a GA Aircraft... Lol)

Your sim looks pretty well so far.

Regards from Germany.

Cheers,

Andreas

Thanks Andreas.  The Riverwalk has grown quite a bit since then, as has all of San Antonio (one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. right now) and Texas.  As for landing on it, that would be a trick!

Appreciate your comments on the sim.  Just finished a custom 5 drawer cabinet on wheels to house the 5 PC's running it all.  Makes things a lot neater and more portable.

That's a very nice flightdeck you have there!

One of the F-16 sim builders in San Antonio is bringing his sim to Cockpit-Fest in Lancaster. Who knows.. you might just be neighbors :)
