Title: XPUIPC
Post by: Bob Reed on April 13, 2016, 05:08:52 PM
Does anyone now how to program a switch in XPUIPC to an offset?

Unfortunately, that can't be done. While XPUIPC is great at porting over nearly every offset in FSUIPC, that's pretty much where the good stuff ends.

However all is not lost. The Teensy X-Plane Library can address X-Plane Datarefs directly, which is pretty much the same thing.

Bob,
Teensy only works with x-plane datarefs, commands, and Strings.

You can also access a library that will access offsets directly so I am told. If that is true I will have to change the interfaces on my yoke and throttle.

If you mean a joystick switch you can do it in the xpuipc menu under xpuipc+

Ok... How did I not know about this version of XPUIPC before? Do all X-Plane users know about this? Ver 2.0.4.7 is what I am using now. There is a drop down menu for joystick buttons that you can assign offsets for! Yes Offsets!! My PM AT disconnect, AP disconnect and TOGA buttons now all work. This is OUTSTANDING!!!!!  :idiot: :idiot:

I try to learn something about simulator software.....but so far no plan.
Therefore I read everything I can find.
I think I have finally a beautiful HC, but that, unfortunately, can not fly. The XPUIPC: I found by chance.

It makes me happy that I could help you this time.   ;D

so long, Thomas
