Stumbled upon this site last night. I was wondering where everyone was hiding!

60+ year married to a lovely wife who thinks I am a real geek but as she says at least she knows I am in the garage and not in the pub every night.

Been building since 2001 and started last year on a B737NG based around Engravity, CPFlight, FDS and some real world parts, (like seats).

Looking forward to seeing some of you in Lelystad this weekend.  Sorry you coudn't make it Trevor.

Hi Ralph

You don't know me 'cos I'm relatively new to this, but welcome! I look forward to seeing some pictures of your build - sounds like it'll be a quality sim.

Hey Ralph...  Great to see you again..  Yes, I guess you could say we are all hiding out here, but the way I see it..  This is where the real action happens..

I am looking forward to seeing more of your progress..

Hi Ralph,

Good to see you here!

Looking forward to seeing some updated pics - the sim was great when I paid you a visit and that was many months ago (I am hoping you are the same kind pilot that has supplied me with many a useful part this year!)

Are you doing any Worldflight this year?

Cheers
Mike

Sorry you coudn't make it Trevor.

Yeah.. heh it is a bit of a sore spot with me, lets just say that!  But hey!  there is always next year right!  Ticks me off too, cause I owed Beer to half the Sim builders in the community :)  Maybe even you Ralf..  I was just going to bring my credit card and put all the promised pints on it :)

Hopefully everyone has a great time.

Thanks for the welcome chaps. I have placed a photograph of my build in the 737 gallery. Just finished adding an FDS shell and an Engravity Overhead.  I was going to use FDT boards for the overhead but they can't supply any until "sometime next year". Anybody suggest a good alternative?

Cheers

Hi Ralph,

Welcome aboard and as jackpilot said solid crew here  ! Thanks for share your sim pics with us !

Hey Ralph..  I would suggest doing what I am doing..  Phidgets cards for your led's  (2XLED64) and (4XLeo Bodnar X36) Cards..  for the inputs..  Just my $0.02 worth.. but seems to be the most stable and robust method to do it.
