Hi, my name is Benoit and I have been a FS enthusiast since I used it on monochrome computers (circa 1982) where we took off from Meigg's airport (ha the memories..) It is time for me to take it to the next level and build a replica of a 737 cockpit with all the trimmings. The only catch is that I don't want to purchase any of quadrant, MCP, and so on. I am a DIY kind of person. I would like to begin with probably the most complicated component; the throttle quadrant. I have visited so many sites for the last 2 years and I got a pretty good idea how to do it. What I would like to do is to make the quadrant motorized. Is there information out there where one can find the "secrets" of motorizing a quadrant?
Thanks for your expertise and it is nice to have finally registered here.
Cheers,
Ben
