WANTED - 737 ACP

Hello guys,


I am looking for 2 real world Gables ACPs (Audio Control Panels) for my 737 sim.

Condition does not matter too much since I intend to strip the switches and buttons out.

If you have some you don't need or have an idea where to get them (Apart from eBay) - I will be mostly grateful.

Isaac, is there a reason you don't want to use ebay?  Shipping costs?  There are members here that deal in parts on your side of the world.  Try adding your location to your profile.


There are only four places to acquire something like that:

Ebay
APHS
A vendor that deals in stripped aircraft or the actual stripper
Another builder.

You can try http://www.swissteknik.com/.  they are also members here.

You aren't going to have too much luck stripping the switches out.  They are a proprietary/unique design mounted to the internal PCB.  The pots you can do though.  I've uploaded the actual schematics here in the forum.

eBay has only one unit I can find, and price is going higher + shipping cost of around - 60-70 US$ but I will look for them if I can find any.

I searched your schematic on the forum but was not able to locate it - in what section should I look for it ?

In case you find a source for these, I will be very happy if you can shoot me a message either here or via my post in Prosim.

You have to be patient Isaac, the one now going up on EBay has been listed at $25 for several months.
Search "Gables" in aviation parts and they will show up. Not rare at all.
I got mine (2) at around $50 each and they were top shape.
The pushbuttons can be interfaced quite easily. No need to replace them with cheapos repros.

I bought mine off Ebay for around $50 at most, and I doubt that Jack paid any more than that for his.
I am confident if you are not in a hurry, you will find a better deal in due course.
