Hello everyone!

First post, long time reader (since 2013).

As I have been using only Saitek panels and a CPFlight MCP/EFIS Pro set, I never felt I was a real "cockpit" builder. However, I will soon be changing that.

I've upgraded the FSX PC to a i7-4790K overclocked and watercooled to a solid 4.8Ghz, 16GB @ 2400Mhz, only SSD drives, and a GTX970 card. Main view screen went from a single 23" LCD to three 24" thin bezel Asus LED monitors using Nvidia Surround and TrackIR. A leftover 23" displays the PMDG overhead and my iPad runs my CDU.

I'm currently building a separate Avionics PC with an i5 @ 3.2Ghz, 8GB @ 1600, 1TB HD, and dual GTX750 cards.

This is all in preparation for running ProSim737 on the JetMax SKTQ I just ordered from Steve at FDS. I also have a full CPFlight pedestal and FWD overhead on the way. Unfortunately, I do not have the room for a full DSTD, so I need to make a small room work best I can.

I set up a little website over at http://www.my737ng.com to track the build.

Is there anyone here in or near Arizona with the same fanatic passion??
