Does anyone now how to program a switch in XPUIPC to an offset?

RayS

Unfortunately, that can't be done. While XPUIPC is great at porting over nearly every offset in FSUIPC, that's pretty much where the good stuff ends.

However all is not lost. The Teensy X-Plane Library can address X-Plane Datarefs directly, which is pretty much the same thing.

Bob, you have a Teensy so it will be a piece of cake

Bob,
Teensy only works with x-plane datarefs, commands, and Strings.

You can also access a library that will access offsets directly so I am told. If that is true I will have to change the interfaces on my yoke and throttle.

Spyy

If you mean a joystick switch you can do it in the xpuipc menu under xpuipc+

Where do you get that version? I am using version 2.0 I see no other version.

MjTom

...another link:

XPUIPC Version 2.0.4.7 (Released 24th April 2016)

This version was released to fix some issues with the IXEG 737 autopilot.

Download: http://ticket-system.org/efasswiki/images/6/68/XPUIPC_2.0.4.7.zip
Installation

Go to <X-Plane>\Ressources\plugins and delete your old XPUIPC folder. Thereafter copy the folder from the ZIP-File to that directory. Restart X-Plane.

Bob Reed

Ok... How did I not know about this version of XPUIPC before? Do all X-Plane users know about this? Ver 2.0.4.7 is what I am using now. There is a drop down menu for joystick buttons that you can assign offsets for! Yes Offsets!! My PM AT disconnect, AP disconnect and TOGA buttons now all work. This is OUTSTANDING!!!!!  :idiot: :idiot:

MjTom

I try to learn something about simulator software.....but so far no plan.
Therefore I read everything I can find.
I think I have finally a beautiful HC, but that, unfortunately, can not fly. The XPUIPC: I found by chance.

It makes me happy that I could help you this time.   ;D

so long, Thomas
