Hi, I'm Louis, I'm 20 and from France. I'm a private pilot heading to the CPL and an aircraft jet engine test mechanic. I'm a huge fan of the 777 so I'm aiming to build a 777 cockpit. I already have a yoke/control column, and the overhead panels ordered, and I currently use a 747-400 cockpit seat (not pilot unfortunately, I don't have the gap for the yoke on the cushion). I'm glad to now join this community to hopefully find some help and share the advancement of my project  :)

Welcome Louis.

I am sure you will find this place a great resource for your build.

Excellent background for a nice build !
The 777 is an monster of a cockpit, j'espère que tu as la place necessaire.

Sourcing real parts for that bird is still expensive, but there is an ample supply of fine repros.
De nouveau, Bienvenue à bord.

Thank you very much guys :)

Yeah Jaack, not only they are expensive, but nearly impossible to find, especially as I'm pretty noob in the hobby and don't always know where to head to (if you guys have some advices^^). Navcom sim is doing my ovhd panels that will be put on a JAA simulators frame, my yoke is ACE (4 weeks became 4 months, 1 month to build, 3 to send it but I'm happy to have it now even if it's not yet installed properly^^).
Yeah it's big, that's why I'm at the moment not to have the whole cockpit frame but the MIP, Overhead, TQ+Pedestal and of course the flight controls, that should fit well in my room, even Under my elevated bed for the moment.
