Morning everyone.

Thought I would take the chance to provide you all with an update with our progress on the rebuild.

We have assessed the situation with the sim and stripped all the cabling underneath the simulator, sorted through the cables and discarded the cables that were all corroded.  We have rebuilt the main P3D V4 system and installed the necessary software and control systems.  We have completely rebuilt the audio system including tying in the push to talk switches on the pedestal and incorporated the volume knobs on the pedestal panels to control the overhead atc speakers.

Atc vpilot software is configured on the instructor station and the audio is being piped into the intercom and overhead speakers through the amplifier.

While testing the new configuration we have actually successfully started the 737 at the gate with the overhead and today will be working on the avionics computer. It also need to be rebuilt and will have all the prosim software installed and configured.

If all goes to plan we will be attaching the screen today and running the wires for the projectors. This will also depend if we get all the cables tywrapped under the sim prior to mounting the screen.

Anyway just a quick update and I hope you are all doing well.

Trev
