I was looking at adding a mechanism to the crossover tube to simulate the 5 lb breakout from centered for the elevators.  (Yes, Jenny, there is an actual center...)

Is this breakout mechanism in the schematic to allow one end of the torque tube to disengage from the other end in case of a jam?

Otherwise, what's the purpose?
