Hey Everyone,
Lately, I've been purchasing add-ons for P3Dv4.5 and MSFS 2020 and found that companies offer discount upgrades for previous version owners of FSX or earlier P3D versions.
If not already posted on their website, you can email sales or support of whatever seller and ask about this. They'll likely ask what you have and if you purchased it from their online store (since you can buy software from said company directly through them or other reseller online stores)
Even if you have the actual DVD's or just the downloaded versions of their programs, they'll honor it either way. Mainly they just need proof of purchase, like serial numbers and/or email receipts. I'm sure we all save that for years and years...lol! Oh wait, that's me who has every flight sim email for the last 20 years...no joking I do...lol!
Anyway, if you wanna save some money, ask the company or reseller in question. REX Simulations gave me a 30% off voucher for REX 5 and World Airports HD for P3Dv4/5. And, they're currently running a 30% sale on REX 6 and Real Global Airport Textures for MSFS2020. So, I purchased both REX 5 and REX 6 items and saved big time.
Lastly, as I mentioned, some companies don't care which online store you got it from. I got 6 titles of Flight1 software add-ons from 2 different places, and explained this to Flight1 Support Team. They asked for some supporting info and in turn, just now sent me an upgrade voucher...gotta login from my flight sim PC too find out more....

Ps If you have some info on getting flight simulator hardware or software discounts beyond what sellers usually offer from time to time, please post about it; if you've asked about discounts through a company/seller before and had good results please share your experience.
lets see your deck a video would be nice :-)
Well, I'll show mine if you show yours...RTFLOL!
Okay, I'll make a new video, but it'll only be in non-operational mode since I have my main flight sim out of it and installing all new P3D addons....
