Hi Mike,

Where does this light in the rear of fwd overhead shine ??  On the TQ or the "radiobox".
And is there a switch for it or dimmer ?

I am in the B737 Overhead Wiring stage   :)  and will put a light there as soon as I know where it is aimed.
Many thanks in advance.

Best,
Bjorn

So that's what that hole is for. I'm also assembling my new FDS overhead and I was wondering what that hole was all about  :)

There is a small spot light behind it on a swivel, pretty curious contraption indeed, not sure it is really efficient.

Should light up the pedestal. Dimmer control is on the right rear of the pedestal.

When i had my real OH that light worked quite well at lighting up the TQ  Was a 28V small spot light.

Thanks guys !

Problem solved and P. Cos got the winning prize with 727737nut coming in as #2 - a free beer when he visits Stockholm   :D
Easy to fit a small LED torch lamp head (9.95 $ here) in the space.
As a bonus my torch rear end could be used as a dummy mic in the Cockpit Voice Rec panel  :D       Looks very alike what we had in the late 1990:s.

Sorry for the Swedish text in the picture   ;)

Hi Mike,

Many thanks for the quick answer, and yes, please post the picture.
I am certain too that the users IRL are almost zero , but on a "homebuilt" it might have its value since a lot of our TQ:s including mine are not lit up.

Mike, that is very kind of you.
I am in no big rush as I have about 60% soldering left on the overhead.
