Hey guys,

Here is the deal, I had a perfectly running fsx system.   Installed P3Dv2 to try it out.  Had to update video drivers and enable AERO function in win7 to get good results.   Due to issues with pmdg 737 I abandon the P3D idea and uninstalled.

Went back to FSX and now it will not run in full screen mode!  Goes for about 20secs at .7fps then shuts down fsx with no failure code or anything.  Windowed mode works great, 30fps steady and no issues.

Here is what I tried,
Reinstalling nvidia drivers

Uninstalled through win7 and roll back to previous good working drivers

Shut off win7 aero

Still could not run in full screen mode.

Now the strange part, if I take out my second video card FSX runs fine in full screen mode! I don't get it.  Remember, using the same cards, same drivers, had zero problems 2 days ago running full screen mode with several undocked windowss, pmdg 737ngx at 30fps.

What am I missing here??

Thanks,
Rob

Did you make any shader mods to your original FSX install?

Got it fixed!  Had a stray d3d dll in my fsx root folder.  Deleted it and all is well again.
