Hi All,

I finally went around and created my sim build blog
http://elephantair737.blogspot.ca/
:2cw:

This should be easier than repost same things on several different forums.  :idiot:

I will add also full gallery of build pictures in high resolution in addition to those already on pages.

Comments are welcome.

Yep! Much better than the original!   ;)

I posted your blog url on some European forums.
Very positive comments, as you show how to make the best out of ordinary hardware store products.
The "custom" (rock solid) mip structure seems at home in the FDS shell! :D
Cheers

Thanks Jack! :)  I was surprised by sudden surge of blog visitors from France  :o

To fit the MIP into shell I just needed to cut the sides top a bit and rework the glareshild frame corners:

That's the same stuff I am using Nick, Nice Job, although I can say your addition of the Heat Shrink is a great Idea that I should have done.  But looks amazing.

Hi All,

Here is the latest update for my sim.

I am working on my overhead for the last few months.

Recently I completed the Electrical panel and FLT/LAND Altitude indicators. They are built using Pokeys card and Display driver boards along with other 7-segment indicator parts from http://www.flightsimparts.eu

The detailed info is here:

I added General Information section to my blog. It contains the short overview of all aspects of my sim.

It includes the overall expenses estimate. Might be helpful for people just getting into this mess.   :2cw:
