Gents, And Ladies..  I would like to Officially Announce this year's Get Together.  In Conjunction with WorldFlight, Cockpitbuilders.com will host a meet and greet Get-Together in Sarasota Florida.  From November 3rd to the 9th, we are inviting you to come have a Beer with us. Sit around and have some laughs.  The Idea Behind this years event, is to raise more support for our WorldFlight Team.  This way, any of those people that don't really want to fly in the Stressful environment can come by and laugh at us trying to do it. We will have Door Prizes to be given away during the event and all we ask is that those that come to meet us, Make a donation to the WorldFlight Team via the website. http://worldflight.cockpitbuilders.com In addition to all of this, Please make sure you thank our gracious Host, Sam Llorca and his Wife for allowing us to invade his home.

Excellent way to combine events Trevor!

Looking forward to meeting all these Avatars :)

For anyone that enjoys Real Word flying, I should have a plane down there, and on Non-beer event nights I'm willing to take a few up in the Mooney....

... Non-beer event nights...

Hey! I'm up for that for sure (me and Maurice make two peas in a pod on the soda-only drinks). I can only imagine everyone being half-tanked sitting around trying to fly properly during WF. Not the best idea  :-[ .Of course, 1 or 2 shouldnt get anyone tanked...hopefully!  Been so long since I've had anything alcoholic that half a beer would have me dizzy. Combine hours upon hours of non-stop trans-world flying and add the "juice" and you have a recipe for  :o

LOL @ Eric..  I never said anything about being Drunk tanked and or Stupid..  But I will likely have a few soda's..  (calms my nerves in stressful situations) LMAO.  Besides..  Its tricky when the motion is on, might spill my drink and we can't have that...  But we will also have rules about that anyway (TO be discussed with those that do come and visit)

In any case, I am looking forward to meeting everyone.  (although I will only be there until the Wednesday the 6th)  I have work commitments I need to be back home for.

If you are planning to come for the "get together" looks like Tuesday November 5th will be the best day with the most folks there. Still have not heard from all the crew on when they will be there (come on guys I need to hear from you) If you are planning to attend drop a note in here. Would be nice to have an idea on who is coming.

Funny Bob,
As I was writing my post, you beat me to the question (sort of).
I am trying to determine if the first weekend or the following would be best to come over. We only have the weekends because of work and kid's school.
Any suggestions which one would be better to be there to meet as many of you as possible?

Well..... Probably the first one. BUT.... First flight takes of around 10:00pm Eastern so that weekend will be very busy as we get ready to go. Will still have time for visiting.....

Let me be a little more clear. Sorry folks lots going on here about WF today. The Saturday before we kick off Nov2 will be very busy. The sim will not be available for flights but we will open it up for a bit for "tours". Lots of last minute setting up will be going on. Our first flight leaves at 1700 EST on Sunday Nov3. Not telling anyone not to drop by on Saturday but understand we will be busy. Always will have time to chat with folks. The absolute best time to plan a visit appears at this time to be Tuesday Nov5. This appears will be the day with the most of us all in one place. The door is open during the entire event so plan to attend at some point, we would love to meet you!

Bob,
Is there anything I can do to help out on Saturday?
The wife and girls may do some running around town...( shopping$) and my son Collin and I can help you with the prep if needed!
We don't want to get in the way but can help where needed.

Had a chance to play around in a Lear 40XL Saturday.  Sadly it was on the ground, but had GPU power on it.  Nice Pit, real nice!

I would love to but FL is too far to consider traveling, especially in regards to time and money. I'll support the meet up online from RI.
