Hi Scott, My cushion is situated a little higher at the front and a little lower at the back for my fat ass!  But..  The middle of my seat, set at a medium position would be 18" from the cockpit floor.

perfect.  Thank you Trevor.  Close is good enough.  I am piecing things together from the Marcus pilot dimensions and the type of seat I have has stationary legs but is adjustable forward and back up and down using a kind of parallelagram type mechanism with 4 adjusters which are not working.   So I am trying to get it to a mid postion and cross check against the real average heights to make sure I have the rest of the stuff placed right.   My seat right now seams way to high but I think it is at its top height position.

No Problem.  I use Acura Integra seats. and they slide forward and back, but no height adjustments.  I set mine at this 18" height, because my whole MIP is scale.  And so are my control yokes, so 18" to the top of the cushion must be very very close for a 6' person.

Well I figured out how to release the pistons on the adjustments for up and down and fore and aft.   I am missing the actuator cable on one of the adjustments and the other is so worn out it doesnt work so I have to get some new ones.   I am able to move them but only with a pliers underneith and definitely not easy.   Here are some pictures of my setup as I try to get all the positiioning right.  You can also start to see the yoke/column linking setup so far.

Nice,  I see your seat cushion is a bit higher at the front as well. I am sure the 18" is going to work for you :)

Mine sits at 22", but I'm not very tall either at 5'-10". I can see just a little of the top of the glareshield when seated.

The proportions look just like your photos though, but my cushion is 3". Nice and comfy on my heiney.

Yours looks great! Hope maybe this photo will help. Whether it's correct or not, I don't know, but it fits me. And the seat balls line up. Or they did, when I had a center pillar installed before Wideview took over.

That is a perfect picture Mike.  Thanks.   BTW - I was up until 11pm last night just staring at all the pictures and details of your 727.  It is simply amazing.    If I wasn't already invested in an MCP/EFIS and Sim-Avionics I might be very tempted knowing I have the 727 store a half hour north of me.  Problem is I cant navigate using an NDB worth a damn haha!   Anyway, I cant wait to come down and see it in person some day.

BTW - I should be going to Nicks on Wednesday or Thursday night.
